Help me help my son!

Here we are halfway though autism awareness month, IEP season people lol. My son happens to be autistic and I need your help. He is moving to a different school this year and the current special education teacher is trying to take his aid. The aid is not in the IEP because I flubbed it being new to this stuff, won’t happen again but still we’re in a pickle and I need help and/or information. Everyone but this teacher feels that he needs to keep his aid or an aid as the case may be, I am open if they feel he should have a new aid after having 3 yrs with Vince but he needs someone! I am currently waiting on e-mails from several places/people and if anyone has any information on Virginia laws regarding these situations or anywhere I can get this info without taking 6 months to wade through; any number I can call for help on this; please, please, please let me know. He is going to 9 yrs old in less than a month and I will not see him fail because they are trying to take away something he needs.
